After many years of working all over the world while based in the UK, in 2016 Henry achieved his dream of setting up a training business in his native Ireland.
He now delivers management and selling skills courses for bankers and professionals worldwide. Henry has a First Class degree in Modern Languages from Trinity College, Dublin and an MBA from Henley Management College. He started his career at the Commerzbank in Frankfurt where he worked in the foreign department in Trade Finance.
He worked at DC Gardner Training and Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC for nearly 25 years and had two main roles during his time in the firm, as an organiser of global conferences and as a trainer in management, communication and selling skills.
At DC Gardner Training, where he was Managing Director, Henry has delivered many “soft skills” training courses for banks, financial firms and law firms, including most of the most prestigious and best-known international banking operations.
Henry’s training assignments have spanned 15 years and well over 30 countries, and his core areas of specialism include Management Development, Advanced Selling Skills, Communication Skills and consultancy for the banking sector on strategic matters relating to Human Resource Development.
Henry is a particular specialist in Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills and Intercultural Skills training. He has delivered training courses and organised conferences in all corners of the globe for banks, financial institutions and corporates, and in three languages.
Henry is accredited to use profiling tools such as the MBTI® in his courses.
Henry is experienced at providing training both virtually through zoom, Webex and other platforms, and in classroom format.
